​Parents Work is a public interest law firm which provides family law representation to clients at sliding scale rates because parents who devote substantial time to the unpaid work of raising their children may not have funds to afford market rate legal representation. Parents Work prioritizes cases involving the custody of children, but does accept other family law cases, such as protective orders, divorces and support cases.

Parents Work takes consistent legal positions in all cases that we hope will benefit both current and future clients.  Please read our Advocacy Positions because we will not accept cases in which clients want or need to take contrary legal positions.

Further, Parents Work tries to advocate at the community level on behalf of the interests of our clients in a variety of ways.
